“HIMSS is a vital touchpoint for connection, conversation, and showcasing the latest innovations and updates for the interoperability community,” said Paul L Wilder, Executive Director of CommonWell Health Alliance. “There’s real value in being face-to-face with peers to get a gut check that you can’t get elsewhere. This year, we’re excited to partner with other industry leaders to create space for a candid, open dialogue, whether that’s interoperability, FHIR, or the challenges that are keeping you up at night.”
Since HIMMS25, CommonWell has reached critical milestones to advance healthcare interoperability and build better access for patients. The organization successfully completed its migration from Change Healthcare to the ELLKAY platform, underscoring its commitment to member readiness for TEFCA™ and also launched the CommonWell Marketplace, providing a new one-stop shop for leading-edge technologies and services. The organization’s work reflects its continued leadership, network investment, and commitment to member readiness for Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement™ (TEFCA) participation and support of the CMS Interoperability Framework. To date, it has exchanged more than 1.2 billion unique patient records for over 125,000 provider organizations. CommonWell is one of 11 Designated QHINs™ across the country. It has also pledged to become a CMS-Aligned Network.
